Situated at our main site in Broad Street Place in the centre of the city, this nursery provides pre-school care and early education for children between the age of 18 months and 5 years and are registered for 26 Children.
We have a large playroom where children can explore each corner and choose from a wide range of activities as well as a cosy home-from-home room where they can relax together.
We are also fortunate that by being situated in the main YMCA building, we have designated access to other areas / rooms. For example we use the dance studio for indoor play (especially useful in very bad weather and when it’s extremely hot). We have a designated nursery garden that is adjacent to the dance studio. It may be small but we use every inch to the maximum! We have a mixture of fixed and mobile play equipment, a planting area for flowers and vegetables, a sand pit and shelters. We make use of the garden area all year round whatever the weather and are delighted to have such a feature in the middle of the City!
