Bristol is a vibrant city and we are constantly working to develop the range of services we offer.
We currently have two areas of work:
The Kitchen is a social enterprise project offering a relaxed and inspiring space – a perfect oasis from the chaos of Bristol City Centre, to buy a drink and food and relax. We exists to offer volunteering, training and employment opportunities to young people who have faced real difficulties in life. They come and work with us and learn about cooking, serving, hosting and how a business runs.
We serve a cracking breakfast menu and at lunch time our counter is bustling with fresh, ethically sourced food. Great for a long lunch with friends or to grab and go if you’re chained to your desk…
If you’re looking for an event space in central Bristol we could be the place for you. The Kitchen is spacious with plenty of room for formal dining, partying, corporate launching etc. We host a variety of events including weddings!
And the best bit is that while your taste buds are having the time of their lives, you can also feel good about the fact that you are actively helping support our volunteers achieve their potential.
The Bristol Wing we may be bias but we believe that we offer the coolest place to stay in the centre of bustling Bristol. The building was formerly the Police HQ and has also been the home to a performing arts circus – it is rich in history and has stories to tell. So we have stayed true to its past and incorporated as much as possible into our redevelopment of the building. We have an amazing cage lift that has been fully restored, authentic Bristol graffiti, and a whole host of interesting stories to tell around the building. We offer a variety of rooms from singles to group rooms; en-suite to shared facilities – there is something for everyone!
The best part – whilst you are sending up the Z’s in the coolest accommodation in town you are also supporting our work with vulnerable young people. Because of our commercial hostel we can accommodate 9 vulnerable young people at any time and give them a safe place to stay and the support to help them move on.
